Project Challenges

A major challenge during the design phase was the development of fabrication drawings for HVAC ducting, plumbing lines and vessels. The building’s unique architectural geometry—featuring varying as twin tower—posed significant coordination complexities across MEP disciplines.

Innovative Solutions

To address these challenges, the project team deployed STRATUS, an AI-powered software platform that automates the generation of fabrication drawings. This enabled the precise modelling and fabrication of ducts, vessels, and tanks, ensuring seamless installation and alignment with the architectural intent.

Scope of Works - MEP

1
Plumbing System:
  • Wastewater systems are designed for each BHK unit, routed to a centralized line and treated at a dedicated Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) adjacent to the building, in compliance with US standards.
  • Domestic water supply lines are provided to bathrooms, laundry areas, kitchens/pantries, and sinks.
2
Fire Fighting System:
  • Fire suppression systems are installed in each apartment.
  • Common areas, including corridors, are equipped with fire extinguishers for additional safety.
3
HVAC System:
  • Each apartment is equipped with an individual heat pump.
  • Air distribution is managed through a combination of flexible and rigid ducting for supply and return air.
  • Kitchen ventilation includes hood systems for each unit, designed as per US standards.
4
Electrical System:
  • Electrical provisions are made for kitchen appliances, heat pumps, and other home appliances.
  • All installations conform to US electrical standards: 120V, 60Hz.
  • Type A and Type B sockets are provided throughout the apartments to support various appliance types.
