This involved opening engineering drawings in SolidWorks to extract BOM (Bill of Materials) information, which was then used to create entries in Macola.

  • Developing a software BOT that automated the creation of entries in Macola ERP using SolidWorks data.

  • The BOT read drawing file names from a control file, opened each corresponding SolidWorks file, and extracted part or assembly information.

  • Automated generation of accurate records in Macola, supported by robust validations to handle parts and assemblies separately, prevent duplication, and ensure data accuracy.

Thus, we eliminated manual intervention and introduced a scalable, error-resistant process that aligned with the client's operational goals.
