Project:
Design, CAD modeling, and manufacturing drawings for different versions and accessories of the world’s smallest hand-held printer.
Description:
The project involved design of physical components of the printer for manufacturability.
Scope:
To convert the raw data in the form of hand sketches into useable CAD models for manufacture and assembly.
Inputs:
Overall dimensions and details of components within the casing had to be determined.
Output:
CAD models, analysis, manufacturing drawings, and prototypes.
The Challenge:
All the internal components of the printers were fixed and the design had to be worked around these components.
Value Addition:
Engineering Effort: 150 hours
Other Benefits: Entire end-to-end responsibility including prototyping was taken up by Vee Technologies.
